TECHNICAL INFORMATION ANS –5310
GENERAL –5310 is a heat reactive polymer system used for paper to metal bonding in filter elements.

Fusion Temperature:	4 minutes at 200 - 210⁰C on hot Plate
Viscosity (secs ) Ford Cup 8: (at 30⁰C)	50-60SEC

Shelf Life : 60 –90 days away from direct sunlight or heat and in original containers. Material will thicken on storage but adhesion will remain unaffected. Thin with ANS THINNER, as required.

Chemical Resistance : Resistant to hot engine oils and diesel fuel.

Immersion tests at 110 °C for 100 hours in SAE –30 oil.

Immersion tests at 25 –35 ° C for 48 hours in Petroleum Ether 40 –60°C boiling range.

Immersion tests at 75°C for 78 hours in diesel fuel.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Dispense a adhesive layer of required thickness in the End Cap and insert the filter element.

Place the End Cap on the hot plate at 190-210° C for 3-5 minutes.

On cooling to room temperature a permanent bond will be obtained.

GENERAL : 5400P is a heat reactive polymer system used for paper to metalbonding in filter elements.
